The circuit design "Podando o Pontal" was born as an offshoot of the documentary "The Pontal do Paranapanema", aiming to show the production for the population of the region where it was recorded, promote debates after each screening with the director and Participants of the documentary, authorities and the population. There were public and free performances in seven cities: Assis, Presidente Prudente, Mirante do Paranapanema, Teodoro Sampaio, Rosana, Presidente Epitácio and Presidente Venceslau. The feasibility of the circuit "Rodando o Pontal", besides the sponsorship of Petrobras, has the support of Duke Energy - Generation Paranapanema and the Foundation ITESP- Foundation Land Institute of São Paulo, UNESP, SENAC of Presidente Prudente, the Association Parana River Protection and Riparian Forest - APOENA, Institute for Ecological Research - IPÊ; Network of ONGs of the Atlantic Forest; Newspaper O Imparcial and Environmental History Laboratory of UNESP / Assis, the Hotel Portal D'Oeste and Itaverá, and municipal governments where they will be display.

The history of Atlantic Wood is a history that involves a lot of destruction and resistance. Currently less than 8% remains of the original forest. In the area formerly occupied by the forest live almost 70% of the Brazilian population, resulting in great human pressure. Worried about this situation, Superfilmes intends to make possible to produce a documentary approaching the social and ambiental history of the region originally occupied by the Atlantic Wood.
